The Greenheart Shop is a not-for-profit eco fair trade store in Chicago. We carry handcrafted items from around the world that are made in environmentally sustainable ways and for which the artisans and cooperatives producing them are paid fair, livable wages.

We only carry products which are made using environmentally sustainable practices and which promote the ethical treatment of workers around the world.

We not only practice sustainability in terms of the products we choose to carry and promote, but we also practice on all levels of our store operations- We recycle as much waste as possible, limit our energy usage through CFL lighting, seek to keep energy usage to a minimum, hire a worker-owned green cleaning service, pay living wages to all of our employees, and make all decisions with sustainability in mind.
