How are your offerings promoting sustainability?

We know that you want to provide the safest products for your family, so we’ve taken the guess work out of finding these products. Everything we carry is toxin-free and eco-friendly, so you can take care of your family and our planet at the same time!

How does your business reduce its operational impact?

In addition to installing resource efficient fixtures to our leased shop space (including a dual flush toilet, tank-less water heater, programmable thermostat and CFL lighting), we work to keep our wastes to a minimum. Recycling, reducing and reusing are a fundamental part of our daily operations. We also work with vendors who have strong commitments to sustainability.

What plans do you have for becoming more sustainable?

We are working to further reduce our ecologic footprint, including composting food scraps for staff meals. We’d like to continue working with our vendors to ensure and strengthen their eco-commitments. Dr. Turvill will continue to be a strong voice urging positive change – encouraging our communities, schools and businesses to be truly healthy and green.
