Our mission is to raise environmental awareness and help consumers to transition to an earth-friendlier lifestyle. We offer everything from the eco-practical to the eco-chic... We donate a portion of all proceeds to the National Environmental Education Foundation.

All of our products help you to reduce your impact on the environment--reusable, made from recycled materials and/or biodegradable. A portion of all sales benefits the National Environmental Education Foundation which offers K-12 curriculum.

• Re-use packing materials (boxes, bubble wrap, etc) from incoming shipments and neighborhood donations and otherwise use recyclable boxes, eco-friendly paper tape, tissue and biodegradable packing peanuts
• Printing is kept to a minimum. When we do print, we use 30% or more PCW paper.
• Reuse paper that is blank on one side.
• Lights are only used when absolutely necessary (shipping) and are turned off after use.
• Our website is hosted by a wind-powered web hosting company.
• Thermostat set no higher than 68 degrees.
• Recycle everything possible.
• Compost food scraps.
• Biodegradable garbage bags.
• Minimal travel by car; even more minimal air-travel 1-2 biz trips/year
• Changing to CFL bulbs as bulbs burn out
• Minimal use of air conditioning in the summer
