How are your offerings promoting sustainability?
We are a Green Certified business that uses all organic food inputs, as locally sourced as possible. Our menu changes with the seasons to utilize the produce offered my local, mid-Western farmers.
How does your business reduce its operational impact?As a Green Certified business we utilize CFL bulbs in our fixtures, non-VOC paints, recycled carpeting and bamboo flooring. All of our plastic wear is corn or potato derived, all of our paper goods are as recycled as possible (our logo boxes are made in a 100% H2O powered facility). 95% of our employees travel to work by foot, bike or public transportation. We also utilize a hybrid in our delivery fleet. Additionally, we donate our food scraps as compost to Growing Power (this includes our coffee grounds).
